The National Weather Service warning and outlook maps show the bipolar weather woes Kansans will face Wednesday. It’s possible winds gusting up to 60 mph will whip snow across roads and fields in northwest Kansas. Meanwhile the eastern quarter of the state will face elevated risk of severe weather, strong winds and possibly a tornado or two.
